The mountain
A road to the summit
Hairpin after hairpin up the south face, then round the crater to the top: 16.3 km and 1005 m of climbing from the Harbour. On a smart trainer you feel every ramp.

The ridges
The Knife-Edge and the Dragon's Back
Two ridge trails for runners, with the forest far below on either side and the sea beyond.

The coast
Flat when you want it
A beach boardwalk that is dead level, with flat routes from 3k to the marathon, and a coast road all the way round the island.

The lowlands
Rainforest, pine and farmland
Rainforest on the mountain's flanks, pine woods higher up, and rolling fields and lakes in the south-east.
